Jodi Hockinson

Jodi Hockinson does voice-overs, storytelling, informative and motivational audio, as well as romance and video. Her excellent  ability enables her to assume accents matched to different parts of the country. Although she does not speak with a Southern accent, she can be a convincing Southern belle.  Sometimes her husband Craig reads parts with her. Using the resources of their company, Southeast Media, they make fantastic videos. She is a congenial person, a true delight to work with. Southeast Media has a traditional publishing division with a full range of services.

Furthermore, she has a variety of interests. Jodi is a novelist and a nutritionist.

Amanda Serra

Amanda Serra is an actor and voice talent who began her narration career at the tender age of ten reading A Wrinkle in Time to a captive audience of six family members. Since then, she has read hundreds of books to anyone willing to listen.

In between narration, she has appeared in film: Butter, The Newness, Love Addict, Threshold, and Scales: A Mermaid’s Tale. Television: Seal Team, The Outsiders, Criminal Minds, Bosch, and Love. Stage: Me and My Girl with Tony Award winner Sutton Foster, The Music Man with Jeff Goldblum and Hello, Dolly with Tony Award winner Vicky Clark. Some folks claim she can carry a tune.

Suzan Hennen

Suzan Hennen is Texas born and raised, has a pleasant personality, is eager to please and work with, and enjoys bringing glory and honor to the Lord Jesus Christ by only narrating books that do so. She has a warm voice with a mild Southern accent. 

She has been challenged with many character voices as in Courage is a Redhead and can sound like an elderly mystery sleuth or a Papa from Mississippi in the 1800’s, as well as animal voices in Puppy Poems and Rodent Rhymes on Amazon Audible. A recent narrating project is with PureRead Christian Books, Molly Grey Cozy Mystery Collection: Six-Book Box Set.

Voice-over has become Suzan’s passion, and she is looking forward to many more opportunities.

Sarah Zimmerman

Sarah Zimmerman’s recording of Abi of Cyrene amazes her audiences because of its beauty. She is careful to bring out the music in every word.

Her many theater credits include performances on Broadway, in Ford’s Theatre, Washington, D.C., and the Old Globe Theatre. Sarah’s voice can be heard on numerous recordings including over thirty audiobooks. She has performed in numerous television shows such as The Office, The Good Wife, and Desperate Housewives.

Since Sarah recorded Abi of Cyrene in 2015, she has accelerated her career as a storytelling narrative. She has recorded a total of more than 150 books.

Clay Lomakayu

A narrator, actor, singer, teacher, storyteller and public speaker, Clay Lomakayu has been featured in magazines and television shows worldwide.  

Jodi Hockinson spoke about Clay’s performance of The Dream Bucket: I loved how he sounded like my Pappaw, down to the whistling when he spoke. It was a super narration. I found myself immersed in the story, like I was right there living it! It would be great if all narrations provided this same kind of good sense of actually being in the story.

Victoria Phelps

Victoria Phelps has been working as a professional storyteller for more than fifteen years and a voice talent and actor for more than ten years. She has been an audio book narrator for the last three years and is also working with the theater in Elizabeth City NC. 

Victoria has a voice that is whimsical, warm, and authoritative. She can sound like a young girl, as she presents the character Trudy in Manuela Blayne or childlike as in her narrations of Brother Star, Sister Moon, and Seth, the Shepherd Boy. She can bring other genres to life also, such as inspirational and documentary books. 

In addition to her work as a narrator, Victoria has written and published several romance novels.

Misty Mikes

Misty Mikes is a professionally trained vocalist looking to get started in the world of audio book narration. Her expressive, articulate voice conveys the message of this simple #Me Too story of a man who has an impressive role in the community as a well-respected minister groping an innocent teenager—Liza Yates Too

Janet Hoskins

A character actress with credits on stage, film and television, Janet Hoskins has several audiobooks available on  Amazon/Audible.com, including Saints Preserve Us, Mama’s Comfort Food, and Secondhand Sister, in addition to House of Seven. Her rendition of House of Seven has an understated tone that adds to the humor of the novel.

Janet has an impressive career as an actress in L. A. Theater, films, and television. Her long lists of television programs includes Law and Order and The Office.

Joseph Batzel

Joseph Batzel narrated Bubba, the Firedog with just enough dogginess.

He has worked in film, TV, radio, and audiobooks. He is an established professional film/stage actor with over 250 credits. Additionally, he is a dialect specialist and can reproduce most dialects and accents.
